The plates of this armor were forged beneath the mountains where dwarven smiths mastered the ancient metalworking techniques of the Stone Empire. Using pure minerals harvested from the raging maw of the deepest magma vents, they embed into the armor the brutal and retaliatory fury of the earth. While wearing this armor, the first time on a turn that a creature hits you with a melee attack from within 5 feet, that creature takes 2d4 bludgeoning damage. If the attacker is a Large or smaller creature, then it must also succeed on a DC 16 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
